Med-Metrix acquires HRSI, augmenting company’s eligibility management capabilities
Parsippany-based Med-Metrix is acquiring Healthcare Receivable Specialists Inc., a company providing a suite of technology-enabled eligibility management services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Med-Metrix, in a recent news release, said that the acquisition further enhances its end-to-end revenue cycle management offering with HRSI’s Medicaid eligibility services.
Walter Parks concert will launch new Fletcher’s Listening Room series in Montclair
Fletcher’s Listening Room — a new music series with a coffeehouse vibe, launched by ministers and congregants of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair — will open on Aug. 10 with the intriguing Walter Parks. WESTFIELD, NJ — The Town of Westfield has been advised by Elizabethtown Gas that a portion of Springfield Avenue will be closed during overnight hours this week for utility work, Westfield Police said in a Nixle alert Monday. Paterson Officials Seek $1.3M for 2025 Road Resurfacing Project

This funding will be allocated to the 2025 Road Resurfacing Project, which targets key streets such as Chamberlain Avenue, Burlington Avenue, and 20th Avenue. City engineers, in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, have identified these streets as critical for resurfacing due to their poor conditions. Sunday was the final day of Waterford Heritage Days. People could enjoy a church service, vendors, skydivers, and a variety of foods. However, there was a somber event added a memorial service was held to honor those who have died including Corey D. Comperatore, the firefighter killed during former President Trump's rally in Butler last Saturday.

Sparta Residents Asked to Complete Survey for Updated Open Space and Recreation Plan
SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta Environmental Commission, a statutory board, is working with the Land Conservancy of New Jersey to update Open Space and Recreation Plan for the community. The are asking Sparta residents to complete a survey to help them “identify goals and recommendations for the plan.” The survey takes about five minutes to complete.
