The vehicle, a dark blue 2020 KIA Sorento, was reported missing at 8 a.m. Sunday morning at the Anchor Mobile Home Park, 8500 Fairforest Road in Spartanburg.

The victim, Angel Godfrey, said she found items thrown out of the vehicle including children shoes, car seats and other items. The family was in the process of moving.

The thieves were reportedly attempting to steal the vehicle around 4:55 a.m., Sunday morning, and wrecked into her husband’s vehicle.

She said she is not as concerned about the car, but wants her father’s urn back.
