    Police arrest a third person in connection with a shooting at Adams Park in Spartanburg

    The Spartanburg Police Department arrested a third person in connection with the Adams Park homicide of a 37-year-old man.

    According to SPD Maj. Art Littlejohn Wednesday, officers arrested Patrick Hyshun Robinson, 32, about 6:30 a.m. Monday at his home in the 700 block of John B. White Sr. Boulevard. He was charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

    On July 2, SPD officers were called to the park at 380 East Boundary Drive about 1:30 p.m. to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived and found Krist Roker dead with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical responders declared him dead at the scene.

    Jason Nathaniel Jurs, 34, and Natalie Alexis Hudson, 27, both of Spartanburg, were arrested on July 10 at a home on North Blackstone Road in Spartanburg. Jurs was charged with murder in Roker’s death. He and Hudson also face the kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping charges.

    All three have been denied bond and are being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
