Brescome Barton Team Travels to Kentucky
Team from Brescome Barton traveled to Kentucky’s famed Bourbon Trail during the last weekend of May for a brand education immersion experience. The group visited Michter’s Distillery, Michter’s Fort Nelson in Louisville, Maker’s Mark Distillery and Jim Beam Distillery, where guided tours and private tastings showcased each brand. Whiskeys—including bourbon, rye and sour mashes—from each distillery enabled the group to taste through and experience the unique attributes and expressions offered to Connecticut buyers via the Brescome Barton portfolio. The team also visited Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, and ISC Barrels, where, for four generations, the Boswell family has run its global barrel business.
