Second Flood Death
Rock Valley, IA (KICD) — The police chief of Rock Valley has confirmed the second flood-related death in Northwest Iowa. Monte Warburton says 52-year-old Kyle Kreykes was listed as a missing person over the weekend, and his body was found in the basement of his home where a wall had collapsed on top of him.

City Street Parking
Spencer, IA (KICD) — The City of Spencer is requesting that people parking on residential streets in the city, follow a parking-pattern to allow for easier debris removal. Between 7am and 7pm starting Sunday, June 30th – people should park along the side of “even house numbers.” On Monday, July 1st – people should park along the side of street with “odd house numbers.” The city is asking the public to follow this request, rotating between and “even” and “odd” house numbers until further notice.
D.O.T. Cleanup Crews in Spencer
Spencer, IA (KICD) — Seven days after the flood of 2024 hit Spencer individuals, volunteers, and city crews are doing their best, but Assistant City Manager Kevin Robinson says the disaster is so large, state and federal help are critical.
