    Clay County Fair announces lineup of free performances

    SPENCER, Iowa (KCAU) — Six different performances will be held at the Farmers Bank Stage throughout the Clay County Fair – all for free.

    The acts will step on the stage from Sep. 7 to Sep. 15 later this year, the fair announced. There will be a wide variety on offer, including folk music, polka music, covers of famous songs, and even comedy.

    “There is a little bit of something for everyone,” Fair Manager Jerome Hertel said in a statement. “Farmers Bank Stage is located in the southwest corner of the fairgrounds and is always a great source of free entertainment during the Clay County Fair.”

    The full schedule of performers can be seen below:

    • Brad Weston : a comedy act on a unicycle
      • September 7-9
    • Kate Voss and the Hot Sauce : a vocalist who will cover famous artists from the 50s and 60s
      • September 7-9
    • The Floras : a husband-and-wife duo who will sing hymns and country gospel
      • September 10-12
    • The Marv Nissel Band: a family band that performs different kinds of polka
      • September 10-12
    • Uncle Muskrat : an acoustic string band that performs folk bluegrass
      • September 13-15
    • The String Showdown : a “thrilling dueling string act” of covers featuring two string players facing off
      • September 13-15

    Each act will perform three times a day for their three days.
