Christmas in July is coming to the Medina Square from Thursday to Sunday with holiday-themed activities. The celebration will start with ladies' night out from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Holiday swag bags will be given to the first 200 attendees on the square. Erin Nicole Neal will perform Christmas songs, and the surrounding shops and restaurants will have holiday specials.
Art in the Park celebrates 50 years
MEDINA â More than 125 artists displayed their work for sale as part of Sundayâs 50th Anniversary Art in the Park. The fine art show and sale is put on by the Medina County Art League. The show first began with just a white picket fence Kathy Stokes-Shafer said. Stokes-Shafer has run the art show for the past five years and is currently the chair of the Art in the Parks committee. She said it takes a great team of volunteers to make an event of this scale work.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources opened a new trail at Findley State Park on Saturday. The Dorothy and Corbett Walker Memorial Trail is named for Dorothy and Corbett Walker, who called their nearly 125-acre farm âWalnut Valleyâ and settled in the area more than 75 years ago after Corbett Walkerâs service in World War II, according to an ODNR news release.
