41-Year-Old Man Drowns In Tenkiller Lake
A 41-year-old man drowned at the Burnt Cabin Cliffs on Tenkiller Lake on Sunday, authorities said. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the victim as Donald Brett Holloway, of Edmond, Oklahoma. OHP said Holloway jumped off the bluff, briefly resurfaced and then went under the water and never came back up.

Heat Warnings Issued in Oklahoma and Arkansas, Indexes up to 113 Degrees
Oklahoma City, OK – An excessive heat warning is in effect for parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas from noon to 9 PM today. Residents should prepare for dangerously high heat index values up to 113 degrees in affected areas including Tulsa, Muskogee, and Bartlesville. A heat advisory has also been issued for the rest of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas with heat indexes expected to reach up to 109 degrees.
