Movies at the Pavilion kicks off this weekend with Barbie

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane is gearing up to begin its summer of Movies at the Pavilion this weekend.

Movies at the Pavilion begins Saturday, July 6. There will be food trucks, photo opportunities, and entertainment before ending the night with the Barbie movie beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to celebrate. There will also be giveaways, including a chance to win tickets to Beyond Pink's 15th Annual Design and Fashion Show on October 5.

The Movies at the Pavilion series is free to the public. You're welcome to bring lawn chairs, a picnic blanket, and snacks or drinks. Alcohol is prohibited.

• Tuesday, July 23: Wish featuring Spokane Princess Portal
• Tuesday, August 20: Hook
• Saturday, August 24: Dreamin' Wild featuring Donnie and Nancy Emerson
• Sunday, September 8: Godzilla x King Kong
