Spokane construction updates for multiple projects

SPOKANE, Washington- Summer commutes continue to be difficult for Spokane drivers. This week, many new closures started for existing projects, in addition to new ones.

Thor/Freya

• 3rd Ave. is now closed between Thor and Freya
• Thor St. will continue to only have one lane open at 3rd Ave.
• The eastbound I-90 Exit 283B Thor/Freya off-ramp remains closed

Garland Ave.

• Garland Ave. closed between D Street and Northwest Boulevard
• New grind and overlay project

Local Access St. Grind and Overlay

• Avon Place between Crestline and Napa Street closed
• 1st Avenue between Freya and Rebecca Street closed
• 6th Avenue between Lee and Stone Street has a shoulder closure

Avista Maintenance

• The south curb lane of Sprague Avenue is closed between Howard and Lincoln
• Post Street closed between Sprague and 1st Ave

Eastbound Farwell Road

• Drivers who highway 2 will not be able to access Eastbound Farwell Road
• Closure in place for up to 30 days
