Behind the Scenes look of FROZEN the Musical

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Disney's hit Broadway musical, FROZEN is in Spokane at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. The show started last week, but there is still time to 'Let it Go' and see it!

The cast gave 4 News Now an inside look at some of the cast's wardrobe and what it takes to bring Sven the Reindeer to life.

Sven, Kristoff's silly reindeer friend is a fan-favorite, and the musical brings him to life.

A puppeteer physically transforms into Sven by wearing up to 50 pounds worth of gear. He then stands on four stilts in a plank position, and that's when the magic happens.

"They're convinced there are two people in it or three people, or it must be robotic," said Collin Baja, the actor who plays Sven said. "It's really not only a pleasure, but it's really cool honor to bring a character like this that connects not only to other characters in the show, but connects to the audience in that kind of special way."

So, if you watch the musical, pay special attention to Sven, because it's hard to believe that it's a puppeteer in the costume.

4 News Now also got a closer look at Elsa's iconic ice dress. It has nearly 11-thousand crystal beads, almost one-thousand sew-on stones and more.

Each dress has so much detail that the audience may not be able to see, but still it brings the characters to life.

"It's just people people go crazy every single night. The audience could be quiet all the way through up until that moment. But that's the moment that we know we have so it's great. It never gets old," said Meredith Scott, Wardrobe Supervisor.
