    Families can get assistance at SNAP's Back-to-School Resource Carnival

    SPOKANE, Wash. -- SNAP is hosting a Back-to-School Resource Carnival for families at Mission Park this weekend!

    The carnival promises to be a fun-filled day for families and help kids get school supplies, backpacks, clothes, and more.

    In addition, there will be food, games, and fun activities like face-painting and more.

    Plus, parents can learn more about and apply for the Washington Families Tax Credit which can provide up to $1,255 for those who qualify.

    “We are delighted to offer a fun and free resource to our community,” said Nicole Bishop, Philanthropy Manager at SNAP. “Spokane area parents and their kids truly deserve this. We are honored to provide this event for them.”

    The carnival is Saturday, August 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
