Fire evacuates apartment building near Monroe Street Bridge

SPOKANE, Wash. — People were evacuated from an apartment building north of the Monroe Street Bridge due to a fire Wednesday evening.

The apartment complex is approximately one block north of the Monroe Street Bridge.

Spokane Fire Department is on scene.

Streets in the area are still closed at this time.

The cause is under investigation.
