Intermezzo auditions April 21

TREGO — The Spooner area Intermezzo Music Club invites Shell Lake and Spooner musicians in seventh through 11th grades to audition for vocal or instrumental music awards. Each year, we look forward to providing an opportunity for music students in our communities to participate in this program.

The award auditions will be held on Sunday, April 21, at Trego Community Church. The Junior Division (grades seven and eight) auditions will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and the Senior Division (grades nine through 11) auditions will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Due to the generous community donations that Intermezzo has received this year, we are able to announce the availability of scholarships to the Shell Lake Arts Center.

Application forms are available from Shell Lake and Spooner music teachers, private music teachers and from club member Faith Tasker, 715.4161.1474. Applications are due by April 15.

These awards are given to encourage students in their study of music. Proceeds from the Intermezzo annual Advent Concert and community donations are used to fund these awards. The community is welcome to attend the auditions.
