The Eagles and Ravens will play a crossover matchup in one of three games on Friday night’s Week 1 preseason slate.
Although both teams made the playoffs last season, the squads finished the season on opposite tracks in terms of momentum. Philadelphia squandered away an NFC East title, which was won by Dallas, only to lose on Super Wild Card Weekend to Tampa Bay to end its season in a tailspin.
Meanwhile, despite a deep AFC playoff field, Baltimore was one of the best teams in football. The Ravens were led by Lamar Jackson, as he guided his team to an AFC North title and an AFC Championship berth, losing to eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City, as the Ravens held the No. 1 seed in the conference.
