Serhii Bohachuk and Vergil Ortiz Jr. combine for 44 knockouts in 45 wins, so most fight fans are convinced that we won't hear the final bell when these super welterweights collide at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on August 10.
The 12-round bout, plus undercard action, will be broadcast by DAZN .
Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) is a relentless and talented pressure fighter. The 29-year-old Ukrainian is based in Los Angeles and coached by acclaimed trainer Manny Robles, who previously worked with Ortiz. In his most recent outing, in March, Bohachuk scored a wide points win over world-class Brian Mendoza.
"Big fight coming up,” said the Ukrainian star at the final press conference. "I'm ready for this fight. I hope Vergil is ready too. This Saturday will be hard, come and see."

Ortiz (21-0, 21 KOs) has long been regarded as one of the world's most talented and hard-hitting young fighters. Health issues have blunted his momentum in the past, but the 26-year-old Texan moved up to super welterweight last year and posted a pair of emphatic first-round knockouts.
"I just feel like boxing is what I was made for," Ortiz said. "We put in all this hard work; it all goes back from that day after kindergarten until now."
