Gardner Minshew makes good throw to score Raiders' first preseason TD

The Las Vegas Raiders have their first touchdown of the 2024 preseason and it came from the arm of quarterback Gardner Minshew on a beautiful pass to wide receiver DJ Turner.

After Aidan O'Connell saw the first series of the game and led the Raiders to a field goal drive, Minshew came in for the next one and orchestrated a three-play, 76-yard drive that saw him complete 2-of-3 passes for 49 yards and the touchdown.

His first completion was a big one to Tre Tucker for 29 yards to get the offense going. Minshew's third attempt came from the Vikings' 20-yard line, where he put the ball where only Turner could come away with it, and Turner did to find pay dirt.

While Minshew's first drive in the Silver and Black was impressive, O'Connell wasn't bad himself, completing 7-of-9 passes for 76 yards. His drive was thwarted after left tackle Andrus Peat got cooked by Minnesota Vikings rookie edge rusher Payton Turner.
