Deshaun Watson may not even be the best Watson on the Browns

The Cleveland Browns opened up preseason play on Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, losing 23-10.

And while it was in a losing effort, several fringe roster members showed up and made their respective cases as to why they deserve a spot on the 53-man roster.

Of the under-the-radar players to have big games, none stood out more than rookie linebacker Nathaniel Watson. PFF released their grades following the game, and Watson graded as the best player for Cleveland with an 89.5.

Watson only had 13 defensive snaps, but he made the most of the time he was given. He had a tackle that constituted as an offensive failure (STOP via PFF) and also registered a pressure on the quarterback.

The sixth-round pick out of Mississippi State may have earned himself more playing time in Week 2 when the Browns host the Minnesota Vikings.
