Thunder NBA Cup schedule released

The second annual NBA In-Season Tournament, now known as the Emirates NBA Cup, was just recently announced by the National Basketball Association, and it looks a little different compared to last season.

Via the NBA , starting on November 12, all 30 NBA teams will play against one another in their respective Group Play, where only eight teams will be able to advance towards the knockout rounds. On December 14 and 17, the Semifinals and Championship will take place in Las Vegas.

When it comes to the Oklahoma City Thunder , they will be playing in Western Conference Group B. Competing against them will be the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, and the champions of last year's NBA Cup, the Los Angeles Lakers.

This will be no cakewalk for the Thunder, with the likes of Durant and Booker, Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson, Chris Paul and Wemby, and LeBron and Davis, OKC will have their hands full with these dynamic duos and their talented teams.

However, if the Thunder play anything like they did last season, they should not have too much to worry about. Along with being the youngest number one seed in NBA history, the Thunder were 3-0 against the Suns, 3-1 against the Jazz, and 3-1 against the Spurs. Unfortunately, they were 1-3 against the Lakers, but with increased experience and the additions of Caruso and Hartenstein, they will be much more suited for the task.

The Thunder's schedule is as follows, per Brandon Rahbar :

November 15 - Thunder vs. Suns, November 19 on TNT - Thunder at Spurs, November 29 on ESPN - Thunder at Lakers, and December 3 - Thunder vs. Jazz.
