Jalen Hurts’ immaculate preseason continued during Tuesday’s joint practice with the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

The Eagles ’ star QB is yet to throw a single interception during the first 12 days of training camp.

Hurts logged 47 reps against the Patriots and finished with an efficient stat line of 24-for-28 passing (85.7%) with one touchdown — a gorgeous throw on a wheel route to Saquon Barkley — and no picks. Per Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks, Hurts has completed 176 of his 219 pass attempts (80.3%) with 18 touchdowns and no interceptions.

If anything, it’s a sign Hurts is feeling comfortable in new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore’s offense. It could also be a sign that the reported rift between Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni during the 2023 season has been mended.

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, who continued his own dominant camp Tuesday with 10 receptions and a TD on 11 targets, laughed off the so-called “streak.”

“This is practice,” Brown said. “Who cares if you throw an interception? Who cares? It doesn’t matter. It’s practice. We try new things, and (shoot) I try new stuff. When I’m doing releases and stuff, who cares if I lose? It’s just practice. This is when you’re supposed to try (that stuff). I don’t think nobody is getting too hyped that he hasn’t thrown an interception. It doesn’t matter about that. We’re trying to execute and keep working.”

The Eagles’ defense absolutely dominated the Patriots on Tuesday, but they’re clearly having a tougher time corralling Hurts, Barkley, Brown, DeVonta Smith and all the other weapons at Moore’s disposal. We’ll see which side gets the last laugh at the end of training camp.
