The Las Vegas Raiders had a late practice on Tuesday and saw projected starting right tackle Thayer Munford Jr. exit early due to injury.

According to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez , Munford suffered an apparent finger injury at the session and was unable to finish. He returned to the practice field later on without his helmet and cleats and had his right ring finger taped up after.

This is the second hand injury Munford has suffered this offseason after he previously exited with a left hand issue during an earlier practice of training camp, although he was able to return to work that day and it didn't impact him after that.

According to The Athletic's Tashan Reed , rookie DJ Glaze got in some work with the first-team offense at right tackle in Munford's absence, and he received a positive review for his efforts.

Glaze saw action at left and right tackle in preseason Week 1 and gave up a sack. However, he was able to limit his issues to that one play, which came in the second half while he was deployed at left tackle.

Munford's injury now becomes something to monitor. If he is forced to miss extended time, it'll be a golden opportunity for Glaze to get more first-team reps, and he'd be in line to start if Munford can't get back before the beginning of the regular season.
