There is nothing that Tom Brady loves more than winning championships — but if there is a close second, it might just be teasing a comeback to the NFL.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner can't stop hinting at a possible revival for his playing days, and it's caused fans to go into a frenzy once again.

This isn't anything new with Brady. The former star for the Patriots and Buccaneers initially retired after the 2021 season, only to then come back a couple of months later out of retirement to play the 2022 season in Tampa Bay. After that campaign he made a second retirement announcement, and appeared to stay true to his word, not suiting up for anyone during the 2023 season.

With the 2024 NFL campaign soon to get underway, Brady once again is hinting that another stint in the league could be coming. Here is what the GOAT said about a potential return to the NFL.

    Tom Brady teases NFL comeback

This summer, Brady made the decision to release a new video series on YouTube that highlights his day-to-day life. His first video was released on Wednesday, Aug. 15, detailing his trip to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With Brady & Co. on a boat in Italy, the 47-year-old is seen tossing around a football, doing exercises and enjoying the water. However, it isn't the actions that caught people's attention, but what Brady said. The future Hall of Famer hinted at staying in shape to potentially challenge the "young bucks" in the league.

"I just want to make sure all those young bucks in the NFL know that if I still wanted to come out of retirement, they still got something to deal with," Brady said.

Of course, fans are taking that little tidbit and running with it — especially Vikings fans after it was announced that rookie QB J.J. McCarthy would miss the entire season due to a torn meniscus.

It's not uncommon for veterans QBs to go unsigned through the offseason, but keep training if a call ever comes. It happened just last season when the Browns signed Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco to a deal in the middle of the season after injuries/poo play decimated their QB situation. He went on to win Comeback Player of the Year , helping Cleveland to a playoff berth.

Brady is getting set for a role in football this fall — just not on the playing field. The 2024 season is scheduled to be his first in the booth, as Brady will be the new color commentator for Fox's top broadcast time, pairing alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

While the idea of Brady giving (another) last go in the NFL is enticing, it's more likely he'll have a microphone in his hand for the foreseeable future than a football.
