Halloween came early this year for LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne.

The social media star was seen Saturday at Fanatics Fest NYC dressed up in her boyfriend Paul Skenes' Pirates uniform, complete with his signature mustache.

While the Pittsburgh pitcher is participating in MLB Players' Weekend, his beau is representing him well at the event meant to bring fans and athletes together to celebrate their passion for sports.

Here's everything you need to know about Dunne's costume, including why she dressed as Skenes at Fanatics Fest.

Dunne is one of the many athletes present at Fanatics Fest. In addition to hanging around the event, interacting with fans, and visiting various booths, she participated in a panel titled "Athletes and Icons: Women Transforming Sports Through Media" hosted by journalist Taylor Rooks and influencer Alix Earle.

That was before she emerged in her boyfriend's Pirates garb, doing cartwheels in the uniform, as well as attempting to throw a pitch or two. She might not be taking an MLB mound any time soon, but it's nice to know Skenes is with someone who can double as his throwing partner if needed.

    Other costumes from Fanatics Fest

Dunne wasn't the only celebrity who donned an alter ego during Fanatics Fest. Earle, who is dating Miami Dolphins' wide receiver Braxton Berrios, also dressed up as her boyfriend and attempted to catch a couple of passes when she wasn't hosting the panel.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski even got in on the action, dressing as each other and tricking attendees into thinking they were super fans simply attending the event. One of those attendees happened to be NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who posed for a picture with the two former Patriots stars.
