Jalen Brunson shares his reaction to OG Anunoby's hilarious, bizarre congratulations video

When the New York Knicks named Jalen Brunson captain for the 2024-25 season, his teammates made a video congratulating Brunson on the honor.

The highlight of the video was OG Anunoby's contribution .

Whereas the rest of the Knicks looked at the camera and spoke at length, congratulating Brunson on the achievement and talking about the season to come, Anunoby's was a bit different. Anunoby's video was only two seconds long. Most of his face was cut out of the video, so only his hair, forehead, and part of his eyes were visible. In a monotone voice, Anunoby only said, "Congrats, Jalen. Well deserved."

It was a bizarre, yet funny moment from the soft-spoken, notoriously shy Anunoby.

And Brunson loved it.

On his "Roommates" podcast with Josh Hart, Brunson said he loved Anunoby's video.

"The OG video was by far one of the funniest things I've seen in a while," Brunson said. "It literally explains OG to a T."

On the day of the Knicks press conference to announce Brunson as captain, Brunson was seen laughing at Anunoby's video.

Hart had also reacted shortly after the video came out.

If nothing else, the 2024-25 Knicks don't seem as if they'll be short on camaraderie.
