On the first play of the second half, Chiefs third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun completed a pass to wide receiver Cornell Powell, who worked his way up the sidelines to gain extra yardage.

Bears cornerback Ro Torrence was the first player to the ball but couldn't bring Powell down. Coleman came flying in to make a play but immediately went limp on contact. He was immobile as soon as he hit the ground.

The game stopped as both teams took a knee around Coleman, who was being helped off the field on a backboard and stretcher.

After the game, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said Coleman gave the team staff "the thumbs up" and had "full movement," but is being evaluated further, according to Fox News senior NFL writer Armando Salguero .
