The Fever and Dream will match up in a Monday night affair during the heat of the WNBA playoff push.
Indiana (13-16) heads to Atlanta (10-18) in an attempt to get back on track after getting its two-game post-Olympics streak snapped Saturday night at the hands of the Lynx (22-8), 90-80. The Fever were outdone by a Lynx team that saw Napheesa Collier finish the game with 31 points and hold Aliyah Boston to 11. Indiana stayed within striking distance until Minnesota pulled away late.
Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell left it out on the floor, combining for 44 points and helping the Fever shoot just above 43 percent from the field.
The Fever won't have much time to rest between games, especially to close out the month of August, when they play four times over the week, all on the road.
The Dream have struggled to find success nearly all season but have managed to win three out of their last four. The Dream had their winning streak snapped Friday night, falling to the Mercury (16-14) in the second of back-to-back games between them, 82-80.
