The San Francisco 49ers will have to make a tough decision in the near future.

There are under two weeks to go until the 2024 National Football League regular season kicks off. Speculation and rumors have been swirling for months about what star receiver Brandon Aiyuk's future holds.

Will the 49ers trade him? Will they sign him to a new deal? Somehow, no answer has been found yet. But, we should find out more information soon.

Bleacher Report's Alex Kay put together a list of one trade for every team to make before Week 1 and linked the Pittsburgh Steelers to Aiyuk once again in a blockbuster proposal.

"Steelers Receive: WR Brandon Aiyuk," Kay said. "49ers Receive: 2025 second-round pick, 2025 third-round pick. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been working relentlessly to overhaul what was an utterly anemic offense in 2023. With Russell Wilson now leading the offense, the team has been trying to find a second elite wideout to pair with the up-and-coming George Pickens.

"Brandon Aiyuk has been the top trade target for Pittsburgh in recent weeks, with Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle reporting that the organization put a pair of Day 2 picks on the table in exchange for the San Francisco 49ers receiver. While a deal has yet to materialize, it's still seemingly a possibility despite Week 1 drawing closer."

Pittsburgh is the most likely landing spot for Aiyuk if he ends up getting traded and San Francisco is starting to run out of time to decide what it will do.
