If your 2024 Cleveland Browns preseason bingo card includes three different narratives about quarterback Jameis Winston's future with the team, then kudos to you.

Three reputable and esteemed NFL and Browns reporters have different takes on what is happening with Jameis Winston.

On Tuesday, Dorian Thompson-Robinson was named QB2 behind Deshaun Watson.  That left Jameis Winston whom the Browns signed in free agency in the offseason and Tyler Huntley with uncertain futures.

Mary Kay Cabot said "The Browns will field calls for Jameis Winston and Tyler Huntley, and could trade one of them."

Late last night, Josina Anderson said: "Well there was one report out of Cleveland today that was barely discussed nationally, that I found pretty curious in how casually it was regarded: @MaryKayCabot report on the #Browns fielding calls today for QB Jameis Winston . The same Winston that went 5-2 under Sean Payton with 14TD & 3INT and a career high QBrating of 102.8? I’m not going to add anything else I heard now, at this late hour… That’s all for now."

Anderson implied Winston could be headed to Denver to reunite with Sean Payton.

On Wednesday, Jordan Schultz reported that Winston is not being traded.  He said: "Sources: The #Browns never discussed trading or moving on from Jameis Winston. Cleveland is expected to make a quarterback move today, but it won’t involve Winston."

The fact is that the Browns needed more quarterbacks than were on the roster last year.  That's how Joe Flacco got signed.

Another fact is that the Browns have mismanaged the quarterback situation for years.  This confusion shows that some things never change.
