Elijah Molden bids farewell to Titans fans after trade to Chargers

As the Tennessee Titans continue to transition to a new era under head coach Brian Callahan and general manager Ran Carthon, more and more players who have been here before their arrival have been sent packing.

One of them is 2021 third-round pick and defensive back Elijah Molden, who was traded to the Los Angeles Chargers for late-round draft pick compensation, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday.

Molden leaving Nashville is probably bittersweet. After all, it was the only NFL home he's ever known, but this also gives him a chance to play. He was set to be buried on the depth chart at safety behind Quandre Diggs, Amani Hooker and Jamal Adams.

After he was dealt, Molden took to social media to say his goodbye to Titans fans.

Molden will be seeing plenty of familiar faces in Los Angeles, as former Titans Bud Dupree, Teair Tart and Kristian Fulton are all there.

With Molden going to the west coast and outside linebacker Rashad Weaver getting waived on Wednesday, there is just one player remaining from the Titans' 2021 draft class: starting right guard Dillon Radunz, who was taken in the second round.

In all, there are 10 Jon Robinson draft picks remaining on the Titans' current roster. You can read more about that right here .
