After suffering a knee injury in July, the Tennessee Titans did not have wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins at practice for over a month, which left his Week 1 status up in the air.

Hopkins came down with a strained knee on July 31, and was originally given a four-to-six week timetable to return. With just days to go before the season-opener, we are in the fifth week of his recovery.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan has offered nothing but positive updates on the veteran wide receiver, but he has yet to say definitively whether or not Hopkins will suit up.

"He's progressing, and he's in a good place," Callahan said of Hopkins last week, per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com . "It will just be a matter of how he feels during practice next week. … As long as he feels good and feels he can play at a high level, he'll be ready to roll."

Hopkins also provided his own update earlier this week, and while it was very positive, he was not definitive on his status.

"Of course, I'm preparing to play," Hopkins said. "But, you know, there's measures (in place). We've got a long season, so I'm sure (the Titans) will make the right call. The rehab guys, Todd (Toriscelli) have been doing a great job."

While Hopkins certainly appears on track to play, we'll feel better once we see his status on the injury report this week. We have all the updates below.

The Tennessee Titans have dropped their first injury report of the week and DeAndre Hopkins was listed as limited.

The simple fact he was able to return to practice in any capacity is a good sign for his Week 1 status.
