The NFL's kickoff weekend comes with a twist this year: not only is a game being played on a Friday night but it will be played in Brazil.

The Packers and Eagles are facing off in a matchup that could have major playoff implications when all is said and done, making the battle between Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts must-see TV.

The NFL's first game in South America won't have any of the league's traditional prime-time announcers. Mike Tirico was on the call for Thursday's season-opener in Kansas City and will be in the booth again in Detroit for "Sunday Night Football." Joe Buck, meanwhile, will be in Santa Clara for "Monday Night Football" the following night.

So, who gets the nod for the historic Eagles-Packers matchup in Brazil? Here's a guide to Friday night's announcers.

Who are the Eagles vs. Packers announcers?

Noah Eagle is on play-by-play duties for Eagles vs. Packers, with Todd Blackledge serving as a color analyst on Peacock.

The 27-year-old Eagle just wrapped up the biggest assignment of his career, as he called the USA men's and women's Olympic basketball games in Paris alongside Dwyane Wade. Eagle was on the call as each team won gold.

Eagle served as NBC's "Big Ten Saturday Night" play-by-play broadcaster last season. He has some NFL experience as well, having called a Week 16 matchup between the Bengals and Steelers last season and the playoff battle between the Texans and Browns.

Eagle called an additional two NFL games in 2022, including the Vikings' historic 33-point comeback win over the Colts, and he's worked some of the NFL's alternate Nickelodeon broadcasts.

Blackledge has plenty of experience in the booth, having called college football games since the 1990s. While he's served various broadcasting roles over the years, including a 17-year stint at ESPN, Blackledge got comfortable with Eagle last season when the pair called college football games and two NFL games for NBC.

Is Noah Eagle related to Ian Eagle?

Noah Eagle is the son of Ian Eagle, and anyone who has heard Noah call a game won't be surprised to hear that. The pair have extraordinarily similar voices — not unexpected for a father-son duo, but still striking.

The younger Eagle graduated from Syracuse University in 2019, getting his start as a play-by-play announcer for school sports before taking over as the Clippers' radio play-by-play broadcaster after graduation.

With Ian Eagle holding down the No. 2 play-by-play job for the NFL on CBS and ascending to the role of Final Four play-by-play announcer, this father-son duo will likely be calling some of the biggest events in sports for a long time.

What channel is Eagles vs. Packers on?

Eagles vs. Packers is exclusively available on Peacock, NBC's streaming service.

The NFL has taken a step into the world of streaming over the last handful of years, with "Thursday Night Football" games exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and even a playoff game that was only available on Peacock last season.

The NFL's second game of the season is not only an opportunity to grow the game in a new part of the world but it's a chance to drive fans to Peacock if they want to watch the showdown of NFC contenders.
