Days after a huge upset win against No. 4-ranked Louisville, Penn State volleyball looks for another victory against a top team in No. 9 Kentucky on Friday.
No. 7 Penn State opened its season with victories over No. 15 Tennessee and Temple. And in front of nearly 4,000 home fans Tuesday, the Nittany Lions pulled off a straight-sets win against Louisville with 45 total kills.
They'll now travel to Lexington to take on Kentucky in the Kentucky Invitational. The Wildcats lost their first match against No. 2 Nebraska but have rattled off three straight wins since. Outside hitters Brooklyn DeLeye and Erin Lamb lead the team in kills.
