Browns fans react to Baltimore Ravens loss to Kansas City Chiefs

The 2024 NFL season is underway.  Even though the Cleveland Browns were not in action on Thursday night, that did not stop ardent fans from watching the game to see how the team's AFC North arch-rival performed.

Fans had noteworthy reactions to the Ravens' 27-20 loss.

The most common reaction echoed by many was that the Browns are now in first place with the Ravens' loss.  Equally important is that the Ravens are in last place .

After future Hall of Fame Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed a 53-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter, one fan declared that Dustin Hopkins is now the best kicker in the AFC North.

Fans had something to say about Ravens' Isaiah Likely 's postgame outburst.  He was upset about the touchdown that wasn't because his toe was on the white line.  Being caught on camera and near a live microphone shouting a profanity is not a good way to handle it.  Fans said he is "likely" to get a fine for this outburst.

Browns fans also talked about their team's luck without them even being on the field on Thursday night.  One fan said that Likely 's toe would have landed in bounds if the Ravens were playing the Browns.

The Browns open their 2024 campaign on Sunday afternoon hosting the Dallas Cowboys.  The game is at 4:25 PM ET on FOX.
