The 2024 Major League Baseball regular season is just a few weeks away from ending.

It has felt like an extremely quick season and soon enough we will be discussing the playoffs. Once the World Series is behind us, the next big Major League Baseball talking point will kick off in free agency.

There will be plenty of intriguing players available, including former Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Amed Rosario. He had a surprisingly short stint with the Dodgers this season and he will be a free agent at the end of the campaign.

It's unclear where exactly he will go, but Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter predicted that he will end up signing with the Chicago White Sox.

"Convincing anyone to sign with a team coming off one of the worst seasons in (Major League Baseball) history is going to be a challenge for the White Sox front office, but it can use playing time as a bargaining chip for veterans who might otherwise have to settle for a backup role on contending clubs," Reuter said. That description fits Amed Rosario well as he continues to try to rebuild his stock back to where it was when he was a 4.2-WAR player in 2022.

"The former top prospect is still only 28 years old, and he could be a nice buy-low flip for the South Siders if he gets off to a strong start."

Rosario is having a great season and is slashing .297/.324/.406 with three home runs and 34 RBIs in 93 games played. He can help any team and it wouldn't be too shocking to see the White Sox attempt to sign a veteran like him.
