Stephen Curry has tormented opposing teams and basketball fans for his entire career. No one has had it worse than Serbia and France this Summer when the sharpshooter lit both teams up in the semifinal and final games of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Curry scored 60 points over Team USA’s final two games en route to gold, hitting shot after shot . It is safe to say he was the primary reason Serbia and France were not victorious.

He did so much damage to the host country of the Olympics that they came up with a new nickname for the two-time MVP, “the devil.”

“I watched a lot of the highlights from it, and the French broadcasters were hilarious. The devil Curry does it again. I will not be adopting that nickname, though,” said Curry on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert .

McDonalds France also had their fun with the superstar’s performance posting on their Instagram page that “For obvious reasons we are considering removing this, the curry sauce.”

Golden State’s all-time leading scorer has long pierced the hearts of non-Warriors fans in the United States, and it had to feel nice finally having Curry on their side. The rest of the world finally got a taste of what it is like watching him hit daggers in the closing minutes of the biggest basketball games during the Olympics.

Up until the final two games, Curry had been struggling, but it was only a matter of time before the greatest shooter ever to live made his mark in France, and he did it in the most memorable way.
