Tyreek Hill is arrested driving to Hard Rock Stadium for Dolphins game

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was arrested while driving to Hard Rock Stadium for the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hill reportedly committed a driving violation. Video footage shows Hill being handcuffed.  And he was on the ground at one point during the incident.

He was driving near the stadium when the arrest occurred. Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus said that Hill plans to play the game. Kickoff is at 1 PM ET.

The Miami Dolphins issued a statement on the incident: "This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released. Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game."

The internet has made the inevitable comparisons to PGA golfer Scottie Scheffler being arrested while driving to the course before the PGA Championship in May.
