New Jersey man pleads guilty to robbing postal offices and carriers
A New Jersey man pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Portland to robbing two U.S. postal carriers at knifepoint and burglarizing two post offices. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maine said during a one week period in January, 31-year-old Winston McLeod and another man broke into the Paris and North Monmouth post offices and stole money and equipment. The men then robbed two postal carriers in Lewiston.
NJ woman sues Wawa after falling into dangerous hole
FLORENCE — A woman who says she fell into an open manhole in a Wawa parking lot has filed a lawsuit against the company. Courtney Barlow, 20, of Ewing, said she suffered permanent injury after the fall in the Route 130 store parking on Oct. 22, 2023, according to the lawsuit, which NJ.com first reported this week.

EAST HANOVER — Another infant has died after being left in a car in New Jersey. Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said East Hanover Police were called after a 6- month-old girl was noticed inside a vehicle parked in a parking lot on South Ridgedale Avenue at Route 10 in East Hanover around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Last Monday, Young scored 19 points to help second-seeded YSU defeat seventh-seeded Jefferson Plumbing 68-51 in a quarterfinal matchup as the league playoffs got underway. The quarterfinals will wrap up on July 24 when ninth-seeded SpeedPro plays top-seeded Princeton Supply and third-seeded Lob City faces sixth-seeded J. Majeski Foundation at the Community Park courts. Man arrested after 16-year-old finds his mother stabbed to death
EDISON, N.J. (TCN) -- A 37-year-old man faces charges in connection with the stabbing death of a woman whose 16-year-old son found her body. According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, on Sunday, July 21, Edison Police responded to a report of a stabbing. Officers found 37-year-old Lizbeth Benitez-Rivera with stab wounds, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
