Living Here, July 3, 2024
With summer here that means that mosquitos have arrived in great numbers, given the heat and humidity experienced so far this year. Mosquitos are more active when there are warm temperatures, heavy rainfall, and humidity. The cicadas are just about done visiting Lake Geneva and now the mosquitos are getting ready to pay a visit. Juvenile mosquitos need standing water to develop, so help prevent swarms in your backyard by checking for any stagnant water in and around your property. This summer is expected to be biting, as all the weather variables for mosquitos are perfect for them to thrive.

The theater announced it will be hosting a variety of screening accommodations for its guests in July, including sensory-friendly, dementia-friendly, and open-caption screenings.
