Multi-vehicle crash causing delays on I-65 in Franklin
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - A multi-vehicle crash is causing delays on Interstate 65 North, according to the Franklin Police Department. The crash happened near the Murfreesboro Road exit on Sunday morning. The Franklin Police Department is urging drivers to avoid the area and to seek an alternate route if possible.

July 18, 2024 – Chapel Hill, TN – The Chapel Hill Police Department is pleased to announce the resolution of the Echo Three Gun Store burglary case. The swift and collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies including Chapel Hill Police Department, Metro Nashville Police Department and agents with the ATF have led to the apprehension of the individuals responsible for the burglary that occurred on July 9, 2024.In a significant breakthrough, the Chapel Hill Police Department has successfully solved the burglary case involving Echo Three Armory Gun Store. This development comes just one week after the incident, demonstrating the department’s commitment to maintaining public safety and ensuring justice is served. On the night of July 9, 2024, Echo Three Armory Gun Store was broken into, resulting in the theft of ammunition, however, no firearms were taken during the burglary. The swift response from the store’s security system and the timely intervention of the Chapel Hill Police Department played a crucial role in preserving critical evidence. Chief of Police, Andrew Kon, stated, “This case was a top priority for our department. The stolen ammunition and the risk of potential for these subjects to attempt another burglary of this magnitude, posed a significant risk to community safety. Our detective Jason Hughes and MNPD Detective Powers worked tirelessly, and with the assistance of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) we were able to track down and apprehend the suspects involved.”
