    Man shot by ‘unknown suspect’ in Springboro

    SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is receiving medical treatment after reportedly being shot in northern Warren County.

    The Springboro Police Department reports officers were sent at 12:55 a.m. to the 200 block of Crockett Drive. Police say first responders were dispatched in reference to a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

    Suspect flown to hospital after West Chester pursuit, Fairfield crash

    When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a male who had reportedly been shot. According to police, the male allegedly told police he “interrupted a vehicle theft in progress,” which reportedly caused him to be shot by the “unknown suspect.”

    Paramedics transported the injured male to a hospital.
