If you’re thinking summer is the ideal time to put your house on the market, is summer the right time? According to homebuying platform Zillow , home sellers make the most money and sell fastest in the first two weeks of May, with July and June, respectively, serving as the next best months to list your home.

During the summer there are typically more buyers entering the market, but the same goes for sellers looking to cash in and lower their price to make that purchase.

Here are 10 of the most expensive home purchases made in June; from executive manors with finely decorated interiors to new builds with pools – the last entry on the list is well worth a look, dwarfing the price of all other houses by double.
