    Two injured after crash on State Street in Springfield

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two people were hurt in a crash on State Street in Springfield overnight.

    22News crews saw a flatbed truck and an SUV that appeared to be involved in the crash. According to Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, the people hurt were brought to the hospital, but are expected to be okay.

    There is no word yet on the cause of the crash. 22News will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.
