Premium Iowa Pork bought the Windom facility out of Hy-Life’s bankruptcy in 2023, and now PIP has revealed that their new local plant is being prepared for use as a pork processing facility that will contain a smokehouse and produce packaged meats like sliced bacon, sausage and case-ready hams.
