James River Church helps area schools

On June 22, volunteers from James River Church provided much-needed renovations to public schools in the Springfield and Joplin areas.

For over 27 years, James River Church has been making a difference in the community by assisting local school systems with projects that may not be included in regular maintenance or annual budgets.

This year, volunteers planned to paint more than 100,000 square feet of wall space along with landscaping updates, small construction projects and deep cleaning. In Springfield. They teamed up with Pipkin Middle School in Springfield, and in Joplin with Joplin High School.

Saturday Serve is an opportunity for James River Church to give back to those who have given so much of their time, talent, energy, and resource to the education and betterment of the greater Springfield and Joplin areas.
