Southwest Missouri features one of the best high school football players in the nation and a handful of all-state performers who are worth watching play along the offensive line on Friday nights.

Here are the best offensive linemen in the Ozarks entering 2024:

    Jackson Cantwell, Nixa, 11

The region’s best football prospect since Dorial Green-Beckham, if not the best ever, is back for his junior year. Cantwell didn’t allow a sack as a sophomore and he’s only getting better. He’s an offensive lineman worth the price of admission.

    Brayden Clement, Diamond, 12

Diamond had one of the better rushing offenses in the area last year. Clement was a big reason why.

    Brandon Garner-Sims, Stockton, 12

Garnder-Sims is a standout on both the offensive and defensive lines for Stockton. That should continue into his sophomore year.

    Jacob Lile, Nixa, 12

Cantwell isn’t the only Nixa offensive lineman to watch. Lile was a third-team all-state performer last year and adds to one of the best position groups in the Ozarks. It wouldn’t be a surprise if more names join Cantwell and Lile after this season.

    Braden Logsdon, Forsyth, 12

Forsyth has had a solid ground attack in recent years and Logsdon has led the way up front as a standout guard. He stands at a solid 6-foot-3, 280 pounds and will push guys around.

    Owen McCullah, Bolivar, 11

McCullah broke out as a sophomore on the Liberators’ offensive line. Bolivar had a great rushing attack last season and it’ll have a chance to continue at a school that typically produces good linemen.

    Angel Quezada, Marionville, 12

What doesn’t Marionville have? The defending state champs have a great two-way lineman in Quezada who will continue to open big holes for the Comets’ elite ball-carriers.

    Jace Renfro, Seneca, 11

Renfro was one of the area’s best offensive linemen last year as a sophomore. He’ll continue to improve and provide some comfort in a Seneca offense with many new faces.

    Peyton Reynolds, West Plains, 12

The Zizzers always seem to have an offensive lineman or two who are among the best in the area. Reynolds is the latest as a 6-foot-3, 245-pound monster protecting his quarterback.

    Bryce Rinker, Mount Vernon, 12

The Mountaineers had one of the best rushing attacks and the area’s second-leading passer last season. That doesn’t happen without some standouts on the offensive line and Mount Vernon’s standout guard is one of them.
