Missouri State football falls to Montana: Highlights, recap from Week 1 game

Missouri State football had a game-winning drive opportunity but couldn't go anywhere before falling to FCS No. 3 Montana on Saturday night.

The 29-24 defeat kicked off the Bears' final season in the FCS before joining Conference USA and the FBS ranks next season.

The Bears had opportunities to pull off the upset but were often penalized while also having to overcome having three starters injured on their offensive line.

Montana scored on its final three drives, putting the game out of reach.
