Per the New York State Police and DOT, Route 7 in Oneonta is closed after a fatal accident involving a pedestrian. According to 511.ny.org: Crash road closed and Crash with fatal on NY 7 both directions between East End Ave (Oneonta) and CR 47 (Oneonta) 2 all lanes of 2 lanes blocked for a crash involving a car and pedestrian with one confirmed fatality. All WB traffic is being diverted off at CR 47 to I-88 WB to NY 23 for reentry to NY-7. EB traffic is being diverted off at NY 23 to I-88 EB to CR 47 for reentry to NY 7.
