Springfield Township police are looking for a man who threw some type of explosive device at a resident's house last week.

A man can be seen on video posted on Facebook by Springfield police throwing a device, which is not a pipe bomb, into the yard of a house in the 3000 block of Avis Road in the Springhill neighborhood. There's a crash sound as the man takes off running before a loud explosion is heard.

No one was injured, and no damage was done to the house, according to police.

A few weeks ago, the same house had a rock thrown into the window by a man.

Police say that it's an isolated incident, so neighbors do not need to worry about being targeted. They encourage residents to check their doorbell cameras or any other cameras to see if they see anything in the area between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact detective Brian Troyer at 330-734-4106 or email btroyer@springfieldtownship.us.
