Norman has served on eight different educational boards/committees and is a member of the Parent Teacher Association. HAPPY, Texas (KFDA) - The youth at the Church of Christ in Happy have been helping the community for a long while. âIn 1996 we started helping our widows with their lawns,â said Rick Bloodworth, youth mentor in Happy. âWhat it did was it made them see the need that other people have, and it filled a genuine need. It also closed our age gap between the teens and our senior citizens. Cause theyâd bring them cookies and everything else for mowing their lawns.â
