Harris County sheriff reveals identity of victim fatally stabbed on W. Little York Road
Authorities are investigating a man's death after he was stabbed by a woman on Saturday night, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.The deceased man has been identified as Dominique Richardson (35). https://t.co/LjO2Ve4syT— Ed Gonzalez (@SheriffEd_HCSO) July 21, 2024 HCSO investigators identified the victim as 35-year-old Dominique Richardson.Authorities say that the incident happened at around 10:48 p.m. at an apartment unit on 7740 W. Little York Road.According to deputies, Richardson and a woman got into a confrontation before she stabbed him.Both were taken to hospitals, officials said.Richardson was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman is in fair condition.While no arrests have been made, the case will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

Man found dead with gunshot wounds after major crash on Harris County freeway
Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that ended in a major crash out on a Harris County freeway early Sunday morning.The Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to the 11600 block of Eastex Service Road at 5 a.m.At the scene, deputies reported finding a Ford Escape crashed out on the side of the freeway. Inside the vehicle, they found a dead man with gunshot wounds. The driver's side of the SUV has several bullet holes.Authorities don't know where the victim was coming from or where he was going. No evidence suggests there was an exchange of gunfire.The Harris County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information to call 713-274-9100 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

HOUSTON, Texas — Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations and Canine unit successfully apprehended a wanted felon on July 18, 2024. The deputies responded to the 9300 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road East to assist with a warrant service after receiving information about the whereabouts of Ices Bragg, who was wanted for two counts of aggravated assault and eleven traffic-related warrants. According to a statement from Constable Mark Herman, Bragg was located in a nearby apartment and safely apprehended.

HOUSTON, Texas — Deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 arrested an out-of-state fugitive on July 18, 2024, following a disturbance call. Deputies responded to the 18500 block of Skippers Helm and identified the female involved in the disturbance as Bryanna Stanley. A Cypress-area man, who killed a high school friend in a late-night shooting, was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Friday. James Michael Sotelo, 21, received the sentence from a judge for the murder of Corey Thompson, a high school friend who was staying at the Sotelo family home on March 20, 2021. Man arrested after threatening parents with pistol, standoff with SWAT in SW Houston
A man has been taken into custody following an hours-long standoff with SWAT after allegedly threatening his parents with a pistol at their southwest Houston townhouse. Officers responded to the scene at the 12400 block of Brookglade Circle around 3:30 p.m. after a male suspect reportedly pulled out a pistol and threatened his father. Upon arrival, officers were able to safely evacuate the suspect’s mother and father from the apartment.
